The above requirements are the minimum requirements for the Single-Engine Instrument Rating course. If you are working towards a frozen ATPL please be aware that, although the single engine Instrument Rating will act to “freeze” your ATPL examination passes, it will not be sufficient for most airline recruitment processes. If you decide in this case to subsequently upgrade your single engine instrument rating to a multi-engine instrument rating, please contact us for details of how this is achieved and be aware that this method will require you to take another initial instrument rating test with a CAA examiner.
