What is an hour building package?

Wycombe Air Centre’s hour building package is designed to assist students who are accumulating hours for the purpose of commencing commercial training. By bulk-buying hours and reducing administration, we are able to offer a less expensive hourly rate on the aircraft which allows you to build hours at a competitive rate.

How can I take advantage of this price?

The hour building package is payable in two payments and is only offered to members of Wycombe Air Centre who are registered with us and who have paid a deposit towards one of the following advanced training courses:

What you should do with your hours?

Hour building is not simply a statutory requirement prior to commencing an advanced training course – it is designed to allow you to improve your own skills prior to undertaking your course. To maximise the efficiency of your CPL (for example) and to save money on the overall cost of training by minimising course hours, it is important that you practice certain elements of flying.

At Wycombe Air Centre, our hour building students are given assistance with how best to spend their hours in the aircraft to minimise training costs on subsequent advanced training courses giving you a head start.
